Because of extreme eye diseases, his vision has been reduced to such dangerous level of imminent total blindness. Subsequently, B-Samuel was rendered homeless; as he virtually lived, by riding on different subway trains crisscrossing New York City. Although most of his work were done while staying in homeless shelters, he avoided the shelters because it became too difficult for any blind person to survive; but especially one who loves to serve God, in spite of the adverse circumstance may befall him in life.
